Goals and objectives
- To foster self-help schemes through family and community participation in the sustainable and integrate development programs towards alleviating the social economic problems that face most needy families.
- To act as a catalyst of motivating the community to organize themselves and undertake development work on self-help basis to support their children and families.
- To initiate and encourage training programs for women, children and their households in various fields to impact needful skills, to enable these families engage in productive economic activities.
- To ensure vulnerable, orphaned and abandoned children gain access to health education and improved health care services.
- To facilitate the provision of formal education to vulnerable, orphaned and abandoned children in Early Childhood Development, primary and secondary schools.
- To provide protection, care and psycho-social support to vulnerable, Women, orphaned and abandoned children by establishing and strengthening family and community based support structures.
- To support the development of agricultural and development sector.
- To impact national development by raising awareness of education, health and community development at the local level.
- To merge with any other community based organizations with the same aims and objectives to make the lives of the children better.
- To perform any other aims and objectives that the general assembly may deem fit and proper for community based organization.

APPROACH & STRATEGY
Lincoln Aid always appreciate and respect positive Endeavour’s from individuals, communities, national and international governmental and nongovernmental organizations. The organization always considers the following approaches during the program implementation process:
- People centered approach: the people of the community are central to all our development efforts and interventions.
- Coordination and collaboration: activities are coordinated with the governmental and nongovernmental organization at grassroots, district, national and international level.
- Accountability and transparency: all the program activities corresponding to the budget allocated for that particular program are transparent; anyone at any time can have access to this information, if requested.

- Integration: Lincoln Aid makes every effort to promote integrated approaches in its project areas. Lincoln Aid believes that the successful integrated model of health, education, skills development and livelihood activities empowers and helps communities to break the cycle poverty and improve their futures.
Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI): Lincoln Aid works with vulnerable people in poor and remote communities but especially with in these communities, women, children and the most underprivileged people are the focus of our programmes.-
- Human Rights: Lincoln Aid is guided by its humanitarian policies which actively nurture all aspects of human rights from within our programmes.
- Human development index and multidimensional poverty index (HDI/MPI & cluster): When selecting project area Lincoln Aid analyses available information about geographical cluster based on human development index and multidimensional poverty index as far as possible. Lincoln Aid also collects base line information to find and set the key indicator before any project intervention.
- Ownership and Sharing: In Lincoln Aid projects, local stake holders are involved in decision making process and community activities are carried out with local participations, efficient community participation, cost sharing and coordination with government agencies creates community accountabilities and ownership of the project.
- Bottom-up: Lincoln Aid ensures that the local actors participate in selection of the priorities to be pursued in their local areas and in decision making about the strategy. By involving, combining and interacting with local communities, better overall results are achieved more easily.
- Sustainability: As far as possible, Lincoln Aid strives to ensure that benefits realized by the organization and community based activities through community development project continue after the end of the project.
